 Moores Springs Campground
Located on the dan river sporting 70+ sites, natural setting, 2 miles from Hanging Rock State Park, Cascade Creek runs through the campground and spills into the dan.
General Information
Located five minutes from Hanging Rock State Park, primitive tent campsites are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Reservations are accepted for a group of three or more campsites. The gates open at 8am and close promptly at 8:00pm
Rules & Regulations
We are a minimal impact campsite therefore:
- We do not provide trash cans, please take your trash with you.
- Do not gather firewood from the forest. Feel free to gather firewood from the grassy areas.
- Please leave the campsite better than you found it.
- Quiet Time is after 10pm. That means no loud music.
- No generators
- No fireworks
- Honor the reserved signs when posted.
Facilities & Fee Schedule
- Port-a-lets, cold water showers and water spikets are located throughout the campground.
- Each campsite has one fire ring and one picnic table.
- $10 per night per site which can fit, one four-man tent or two two-man tents.
- $25 for RV parking. Sites 16 and 17 have 110 and 220 hookups.
- Fee is to be paid with cash. A receipt will be given.
- Checks are accepted for groups only.
- For a large group, we charge $3 a head

- 1 volleyball net
- 1 large circular concrete meeting/picnicing area
